Data Protection Declaration

Unless otherwise indicated below, providing your personal data is neither legally nor contractually mandatory, nor is it necessary for contract conclusion. You are not obliged to furnish your data, and failure to do so will not result in any adverse consequences. This holds true as long as the processing procedures outlined below do not specify otherwise. The term "personal data" refers to any information pertaining to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Server Log Files

Our websites can be accessed without the need to supply personal data. Each time you visit our website, your internet browser automatically transmits and stores user data in protocol files (server log files). This stored data may include details such as the name of the accessed page, the date and time of the request, the volume of data transmitted, and the requesting provider. This data is solely used to ensure the proper functioning of our website and enhance our service. It is impossible to identify a specific individual using this data.

Collection and Processing When Using the Contact Form

When you utilize our contact form, we will only collect personal data (such as your name, email address, and message text) to the extent provided by you. The processing of this data is carried out to facilitate contact. By submitting your message, you consent to the processing of your transmitted data. This processing is conducted based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You have the option to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, without affecting the legality of the processing conducted with your consent prior to withdrawal. Your email address will be used exclusively to address your request, and your data will be deleted once the request is fulfilled, unless you have agreed to further processing and use.

Use of Google reCAPTCHA

Our website utilizes the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). This service distinguishes between human and automated input. The service collects your IP address and other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service. For this purpose, your input is sent to and further processed by Google. However, your IP address is truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or other signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. In exceptional cases, the full IP address may be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google uses this information on behalf of our website to assess your use of the reCAPTCHA service. Your browser transmits your IP address as part of reCAPTCHA, but this is not linked to other data held by Google. Data may also be transferred to the USA, which is subject to the European Commission's adequacy decision, the "Privacy Shield". Google participates in the "Privacy Shield" and complies with its requirements. By activating reCAPTCHA, you consent to the processing of your data, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the legality of the processing carried out with your consent prior to withdrawal. More detailed information on Google reCAPTCHA and the associated data protection declaration can be found at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en

Customer Account

When you create a customer account, we will collect your personal data as specified in the account creation process. The processing of this data is done to improve your shopping experience and streamline order processing. This processing is carried out based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, without affecting the legality of the processing carried out with your consent prior to withdrawal. Your customer account will be deleted accordingly.

Data Collection When Posting a Comment

When you comment on an article or a post, we will collect your personal data (name, email address, comment text) only to the extent provided by you. This processing is performed to enable commenting and display comments. By submitting your comment, you consent to the processing of your transmitted data. This processing is conducted based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, without affecting the legality of the processing conducted with your consent prior to withdrawal. Your personal data will then be deleted, with only the name you provided being published alongside your comment.

Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal Data in Orders

When you place an order, we collect and use your personal data only as necessary for fulfilling and processing your requests. Providing data is required for concluding a contract; failure to provide it will prevent contract conclusion. Processing is done based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR and is required for contract fulfillment. We do not share your data with third parties without your explicit consent, except for service partners required for handling the contractual relationship or service providers we use to process an order. Alongside the recipients named in this data protection declaration, these may include shipping providers, payment service providers, merchandise management service providers, service providers for order processing, web hosts, IT service providers, and dropshipping dealers. We strictly adhere to legal requirements in every case, and the scope of data transmission is kept to a minimum.

Use of Your Email Address for Newsletter Mailings

We use your email address for sending newsletters solely for our own marketing purposes, provided you have explicitly agreed. Processing is carried out based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing conducted with your consent prior to withdrawal. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the relevant link in the newsletter or by contacting us. Your email address will then be removed from the distribution list. Your data will be shared with an email marketing service provider as part of order processing but will not be forwarded to other third parties.

Use of Your Email Address for Direct Marketing

We use your email address, obtained in the course of selling a product or service, for the electronic transmission of marketing for our own similar goods or services, unless you have objected to this use. You must provide your email address to conclude a contract, and failure to do so will prevent contract conclusion. Processing is carried out based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR due to our legitimate interest in direct marketing. You can object to this use of your email address at any time by contacting us. The contact details for exercising your right to object can be found in our imprint. You can also use the link provided in the marketing email. This will not incur any costs beyond standard transmission fees.
